All the following Tribute pages are written by Ron's younger brother (4 years) Robert Morgan. The statements within this tribute are either what Ron spoke of and/or Robert witnessed. Robert shared the most intimate subjects with Ron throughout Ron's life; especially the music part. Robert visited Ron in Los Angeles during the summers of 1967 - 68. Not to mention sharing music in an immeasurable time period as Ron's student and Bass Player. This adds up to over 45 years in the making! Robert has experienced the many instances musicians face and how some people will discredit someone who is not present or able to say otherwise. Ron never walked around parading his music; never bragged, yet would give and/or take credit in fairness whilst being the most humble. When Ron spoke of the pitfalls; he never blamed any one person... but would mostly comment "It didn't take off like a dirty sock" ;-)
With that said; please try to make an attempt to cover all the tribute pages before passing judgment. The only true motive in this tribute is giving acknowledgement to an unknown; who contributed greatly to the music of an incredible ERA and gave of himself to his band mates. In addition, the "other" earlier articles did hit a tender nerve... Ron's story is finally told.
Robert and Ron's Family are not seeking any credit, monetary residues or acknowledgements; only honoring a precious life of an incredible Musical Artist and wonderful Human Being... Ron Morgan.

Roger Liston, who in some circles was known as one of the best Percussionists ever to come out of the sixties; has written a Tribute to Ron and the beginnings of his musical career.
Roger was present when Ron got Frank Zappa's attention, when they shared the stage at the Whisky A-Go Go in Hollywood 1965. Roger witnessed first hand Ron develop an incredible talent people are just learning about.
